What would you do if you lost all your possessions? Be grateful for the time I had them.

What’s a topic or issue about which you’ve changed your mind? The value of protests and boycotts in 2025. Initially I thought worthless as I compared everything to the Montgomery bus boycott which lasted over a year before change happened. Now I see it is a victory for folks to have their voices heard.

Tell us about a time when you felt out of place. When I was in high school, I felt out of place with both the Black students and the white students.
