Green-book

Green-book was an annual guidebook for Black roadtrippers founded and published by New York City mailman Victor Hugo Green from 1936 to 1967. Showed Black folks where they could eat, shop, and stay during segregation. AKA “the bible of black travel”.

May Chinn 1886-1980. First Black woman to graduate from Bellevue Hospital Medical College (now NYU School of Medicine) and the first Black woman to intern at Harlem Hospital.
