Cultural tradition from Ghana that I wish existed in the United States

What’s a cultural tradition from another country that you wish existed in yours? I wish the tradition of formal respect for the elders existed in the United States. Not necessarily bowing but greeting first, using respectful titles, letting us go first, giving up seats on public transportation.
