Tell us about your first day at something — school, work, as a parent, etc. My first day of work at KPIX, in December 2002. One employee, the office manager, took me around the station and introduced me by name and title to more than 100 employees.

What positive events have taken place in your life over the past year? I have learned to love, have joy and gratitude and to forgive. This has lead to countless positive events in my life.

Do you have a favorite place you have visited? Where is it? Sydney, Australia

Are you more of a night or morning person? Morning, starting at 3am.

What are your two favorite things to wear? My Apple Watch and fingerless gloves.

Do you or your family make any special dishes for the holidays? Sweet potato pie!

What are your favorite animals? Penguins, koalas, and cheetahs.
