What’s the most spontaneous thing you’ve ever done? The most spontaneous thing I have ever done is to buy a ticket to see Rosie O’Donnell in concert at the Sydney Opera House in Australia and I live in Oakland, California.

How do you make time for self-care? I make time for self-care by scheduling it and adding it to my daily agenda. Self-care is first on my daily to do list so it is prioritized and always get done even if the entire list does not.

What’s a place you visited that felt like home? Sydney, Australia is a place I visited that felt like home.

If you could pick any fictional animal to be your lifelong companion (like a Pokémon or fantasy pet), what would it be? If I could pick any fictional animal to be my lifelong companion it would be “Bugs Bunny”. What’s up doc?

What’s the longest trip you’ve ever taken? The longest trip I have ever taken is to Sydney, Australia.

Who is your favorite cartoon character? My favorite cartoon character is Bugs Bunny.

If you could relive one year of your life, which one would it be? If I could relive one year of my life, it would be this year, 2026, the current year. Oh, to relive my time at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

If you had to get a tattoo right now, what would it be and why? If I had to get a tattoo right now I would have “mom” and “dad” redone on my hands. The tattoos are fading but not the memories.

How did you meet your significant other? I met my wife through the “Facebook dating” app. I was 67 years old and she was 71.

If you could erase one event from history, what would it be? If I could erase one event from history it would be slavery in the United States.
