Tell us about your first day at something — school, work, as a parent, etc. My first day of work at KPIX, in December 2002. One employee, the office manager, took me around the station and introduced me by name and title to more than 100 employees.

What positive events have taken place in your life over the past year? I have learned to love, have joy and gratitude and to forgive. This has lead to countless positive events in my life.

Are you more of a night or morning person? Morning, starting at 3am.
