C. Alfred “Chief” Anderson 1907-1996 known as the “Father of Black Aviation”. In 1932 he was the first Black American to complete a round-trip, transcontinental flight between Atlantic City, New Jersey, and Los Angeles, California. He trained The Tuskegee Airmen.
