The thing I am most scared to do is to talk to my 85 year old aunt. During our conversations she talks about sexual abuse that occurred more than 50 years ago in our family as if it is consensual. I find this so
disturbing that I don’t call her for fear of being triggered and not being able to steer the conversation in another direction.

I think it will take courage to make the call and heal.
