What I wanted to be when I grew up

When you were five, what did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was five I wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My role model was my teacher in kindergarten, first grade, and my piano teacher for many years, Mrs. Anne B Galley.

I was a substitute school teacher in the Oakland Unified School District as well as a law professor at Golden Gate University School of Law, New College School of Law, and in the CLEO (Council on Legal Education Opportunity) summer programs at the University of Idaho at Moscow and the University of California, College of Law, San Francisco (formerly Hastings).

I continue to teach through my websites BlackHistoryEveryday.com and Kiki1957.Substack.com
